We continue our CME series begun with the aim to impart practical skills among Ayurvedic physicians. This time it was a journey into the world of different types a Pottali sweda practised in Kerala. The lecture was taken by Dr Sandeep Pillai, who has over 10 years of clinical experience and is providing quality panchakarma treatment to his patients in Kerala authentic style. The CME was held on 11/11/2019 at College auditorium, Nallasopara East from 2 PM - 5PM.  Several delegates and teaching faculty attended the CME. The lecture dealt about various types of Pottali sweda including some unique types like chincha lavana pottali and steam pottali. Dr. Pillai demonstrated the methods with his team and the participants enthusiastically took part in the demonstration. There was also an exhibition arranged which showcased the various ingredients needed for the different kinds of Pottali sweda and their uses.  The participants responded that the whole event added much to their knowledge on Pottali sweda and would definitely boost their clinical  career.
